The story
At Seek Wild Africa, we believe that every journey should leave something positive behind.
During one of our visits to a local family living near Volcanoes National Park, we saw firsthand some of the challenges they were facing, including difficulty accessing enough food for their household.
We decided to help in a simple but meaningful way: providing food supplies that could support the family for several months.
It was not a solution to every challenge they face, and we know that one contribution cannot change a life forever. But for this family, at that moment, it meant something important — relief, dignity, and the feeling that someone cared.
What made the moment even more special was knowing that this support came partly from the small share of what travelers spend on their safari with Seek Wild Africa.
